Blue sky & the water underneath

It was a beautiful day. The freshness in the tender breeze is hard to forget. The memory of the moment still lingers on.  Owing to its proximity to the capital city Delhi and satellite cities Gurugram and Noida, it is one of the most favorite places to northerners.

Pretty easy to access with multiple options, one can take an 8 hours bus ride at many parts of day. It would around 400 to 600 INR roughly depending upon the service provider. If you are person who want the luxury of hiring your own cab, there are plenty of them who would be happy to give you the ride for a few thousand bucks. For long drive lovers, it’s a perfect choice.  It would hardly take 5 – 6 hours.

Driving along the winding roads above the clouds can be intoxicating by itself. For the drivers, pay attention to the road more than the side views of the ranges of the Himalayan extension full with lush green trees and wild flowers. Once in a while, you can stop for few minutes on the way to feel the freshness of the breeze that has come to you passing through those woods. Most likely, you will also be lucky enough to feel the clouds passing under your feet.

I bet Nainital won’t disappoint you for your weekend getaway plan. There are many other small things to explore in the town, many good restaurants to hang around. I will leave that for you to explore. It’s always good for every adventure seeking person to go and explore the unknown.
